My name is Laurie Smith and I am the owner of two gorgeous Standard Poodles, Dexter and Zoey, and one Chocolate Labrador Retriever, Nala. I was born and raised on a farm in Southern California where we had horses, cattle, pigs, sheep, chickens, dogs, and cats. At an early age, I was taught the importance of taking care of animals of all different ages, sizes, and breeds. I was responsible for bottle-feeding our cattle and pigs and ensuring that all other animals were watered and fed every day before I left for school. I have always loved animals and enjoyed their company. They are a huge part of my life and I couldn’t imagine life without them.
Since my father-in-law was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and I will be his caretaker, I have decided to end my current occupation and start a new adventure in breeding Standard Poodles, Labradoodles, and Goldendoodles. I owned my own adoption service for 15 years and loves helping birth mothers and adoptive families with the process of adoption. It brought me much joy and happiness. I look forward to this new adventure and all it has to offer.
